Sanctuary: Normandy

Does Robin Dunne have some sorta clause in his contract that says that he gets to be in every episode of Sanctuary or something?

Cut for spoilers. Not that the cuts work in the RSS feed, so, uhhh, suckers?

Not a lot to say other than omfg amaaaazing. The Five reuniting! TPTB confirming that Helen and James were totally involved! James, John and Helen all aware that John’s really the person that Helen loves mostest! More blatant John/James subtext that even I notice! Nigel being casually naked in front of Helen and James!

Yeah.

I’m so in the The Five were all screwing each other camp.

And I totally swore at John for being in that Nazi uniform. And having hair. Mostly the hair, cuz, really, John a Nazi? He’s a depraved sociopath, yes, but racial purification isn’t really his thing. He’s more about the indiscriminate murdering.

Also, is it just me, or did Tesla have less control over his vampyness than usual? I don’t really pay attention to Tesla (usually cuz Helen’s on the screen at the same time and c’mooon, Helen vs Tesla? No contest) so idk. Maybe I’m just used to him being devamped.

Speaking of Helen… mmmm French speaking wide eyed flirty Helen. Oh Helen, I love you as much as a person can love a fictional character and not be a crazy astral wife.

And now for the whiny part: wtf why was Will’s grandfather in it? What was the point of that other than making Helen look like a super creepy stalker? Also, no Kate. ): I mean, that’s no surprise, but I still miss her.

And that is all.

Loved this episode!  Love to see a big story involving The Five.  If only they could have had Tesla with them – that was probably the only thing that could have improved an already amazing episode.  The cinematography, the score – seriously epic!  Flirty Helen had me squeeing like mad!

I don’t believe The Five were all sleeping together, but it was very obvious to me that James and Helen did get together.  (I loved that the one word – “Darling” – makes such an impact.)  I’ve never really had a John/James vibe until this episode.  Whoa!  It certainly makes the love triangle more interesting.

In principle, I don’t object to having Will play his own grandfather (or possibly his grandfather’s brother or something), but for some reason I just don’t like the idea that she was following this one man’s family all that time and that’s how she came across Will.  Are we supposed to believe that this one man was so pivotal to her life that she followed his family alone throughout the years?  If she followed the families of others who had a deep impact on her life…can you imagine how many people that might be (as generations go on and families grow larger)?  It just seems a little crazy.  I suppose I’m the only one that thinks that way.

Excellent episode and it was much enjoyable. I’m so excited to read the article and it sounds like this might be one of the episodes of Sanctuary well worth reading. Keep it up though!

Excellent post!  I notice that it’s very meaningful concept though until I didn’t go any camp. Anyway I love the story. Thanks!
