River Song Rewatch

So now that I’ve seen Day of the Moon, I think I’m going to watch all of the episodes with River from the perspective of her timeline, not the Doctor’s. Cuz clearly I want to spend my weekend in tears.

Actually, I’m not sure how far I’ll make it before depressing myself so much that I run away. I primarily read/watch happy things for a reason, dammit!

I’m not sure why I’m making this a blog/LJ entry… it should be a doodle comic, hmmm. Or I should make a doodle comic of it after I finish the rewatch.

Unwatched TV

Okay, I have a really bad tendency to acquire tv and then either A) never watch it or B) watch about half of it before getting distracted by another show. So this is my summer plan: watch the damned tv you haven’t seen yet and stop picking up new shows every other day.

THE LIST

  • Being Human (I’m about halfway through series two.)
  • The Big Bang Theory (Only a couple of episodes behind.)
  • The Closer (I watched season one out of boredom last summer. Not really my thing, but then I learned that Mary McDonnell is in it later on and I was all fuck it I’m going to watch the next five seasons for Mary. Cuz Mary is wonderful.)
  • Doctor Who (I’ve seen An Unearthly Child, season 12, the first serial of season 13, the movie and all of New Who. I need to watch everything else. Cuz Classic Who is wonderful.)
  • The Dresden Files (I’ve been watching this on and off for about two years now. Self, there are twelve episodes of the entire show – it should not take you this long.)
  • Fringe (I, uh, haven’t seen the last six episodes. Bad fan, I know.)
  • The Guard (It has Ryan Robbins and Zoie Palmer!! In a sorta relationship idk I’m only a couple episodes in.)
  • Hercules (Doesn’t have enough Lucy Lawless or Renee O’Connor to hold my attention, really. I think I’ll just skip to the crossover episodes and the cracky shit like how Kevin Sorbo is apparently really Hercules?)
  • Jekyll (I really will watch this, Darcy, I swear! It has Gina Bellman and you know that I love Sophie so, yes, it will be watched.)
  • Legend of the Seeker (Haven’t started. Downloaded cuz of the crazy fan campaign.)
  • MacGyver (What? It has RDA! With a mullet, but he’s still hot.)
  • Merlin (Halfway through series two. Still.)
  • NCIS (I watched seasons 1-7 (well, half of seven) in a little over a month in November/December. I’m currently in the beginning of season eight.)
  • The Outer Limits (Torrent quality is utter shit – I think I’ll just wait until I have the money to buy the DVDs.)
  • Primeval (Couple episodes into series one.)
  • Sherlock (Ummm… I still haven’t watched the last episode?)
  • Spartacus (I’m partway into Blood and Sand, but mostly I wanna watch Gods of the Arena cuz it has Jaime Murray.)
  • Star Trek (All of it. Except for Voyager, which I have already seen. Actually, put Voyager back on the list – I haven’t seen that in, like, five years.)
  • Taken (I don’t even know what this is about or why I downloaded it.)
  • Torchwood (Partway into series one. It’s not that exciting since I watched Doctor Who first and, consequently, got spoiled for some of Torchwood. Also, Owen pisses me off like whoa.)
  • V (The second miniseries and then the show from the 80′s.)
  • The Walking Dead (I’m not a zombie fan, at all (the science is too bad even for me – don’t even get me started) but everyone I know freaked out over the pilot so I downloaded it… and then never watched.)
  • Women’s Murder Club (Watched the pilot. Too much discussions on men and relationships and not enough about the dead fucking body in front of you. But pilots suck so I’ll keep watching.)

So! Which should I watch first?

Sanctuary: One Night

Okay, I’m quick to criticise everything, but I do try not to get too negative about shows whose fandoms I closely follow – there’s already too much hate in fandom, y’know? But the latest Sanctuary? Agghh! Just… agghh! Why so stupid, Abby, why so stupid?

Cut for spoilers, obviously.

The Ultimate (Outdated) Syfy Crossover

So apparently I forgot to hit submit on this last… August. So it’s quite outdated by now, what with there being no show in the BSGverse currently running and Being Human not included. Not that Being Human is hard to crossover – oh look, monsters. Draw a line to Sanctuary. Problem: solved.

Yes, I fixed the title but couldn’t be bothered to fix the actual map. One is easier to do than the other?
